FIRST CLASS:
Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Classes are held every Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Payment:
Payment is due on the first day. Exact cash please, no change given. Make checks payable to St. Mary’s CCD. Turn in all forms and payment to a teacher.
Attention 2nd grade and 11th grade ONLY.
Since this is a sacrament year, you are required to bring a copy of your Baptismal Certificate. The copy will not be returned. Please turn this in to your teacher.
ATTENDANCE:
Attendance is extremely important and is taken at every class. In the 2nd and 11th grade, more than two absences will put students at risk of not being able to receive the sacraments with their class. ***New this year*** An absence in any grade will require make up work assigned by the teacher. It is due the next class period after assigned.
DROP OFF & PICK UP -
Children should be dropped off NO earlier than 5:50. Before 5:50, no one will be available to supervise your child. Please drop off and pick up your child from where the class meets. Children are not allowed to cross FM 340 road without adult supervision. 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders must be dropped off and picked up at their classroom door by a parent. Students will remain with their teacher until the parent comes to pick them up.

Mass Days:
Parents and grandparents are always WELCOMED and WANTED to attend mass with us. Students will sit with their class and teacher during mass. Shorts are NOT allowed at Mass.
Texts & Facebook: Important reminders will be texted to the parents and students cell numbers that you put on the registration form. The text will be the best way to receive information about class changes & etc. Facebook - @St. Mary’s Religious Education.
Food, candy, drinks and water bottles are NOT allowed inside the buildings or Church. Gum is never permitted during Mass. No tobacco, alcohol, drugs, smoking, vaping.
Discipline:
We expect to have zero discipline problems. Our class time is very short and very valuable. Disobeying and disrespect toward teachers, students and the facilities will not be tolerated and may lead to your child’s removal from the class.
Dress Code:
This is a Christian environment and should be respected as such. Any clothing deemed immoral and unacceptable is not allowed. Shorts are not allowed at Mass.
Cell Phones:
Cell phones can be a huge distraction and have caused many problems in the past. Cell phones are NOT allowed in class unless the teacher specifically asks the students to use them for class work. Teachers have the authority to collect cell phones at the start of class & return at the end of class or have the parent pick them up. Headphones, ear buds, and apple watches are not allowed.
St. Mary’s Picnic:
Always the second Sunday in June. All families and students are required to help with the picnic. Be mindful of this when booking vacations. Mark your calendars - June 13, 2027 is picnic day!
Clean Up
After class, chairs should be neatly placed under tables and classrooms clean and neat before leaving. If mud is tracked in it must be swept up. The students will share the responsibility to clean up after class.
